A day in Paris

Today, we spent a day sightseeing in Paris.

                                     

We started with a city tour and admired the Place de la Concorde with its Obelisk, the river banks with the famous Pont des Arts (the lovers' bridge), the Opéra Royal, the Église de la Madeleine and the Musée Pompidou.

We then stopped for some shopping in the Gallerie des Halles and walked around the lovely neighborhood of Montmartre. 

The students were happy to see the Café where the movie Amélie was shot!

Lastly, we visited the Musée de la vie Romantique.
